Shipping containers cross temperature zones, humidity levels, and seasons. That movement creates a common problem: condensation inside the container. The DB-1000G is a bag-format container desiccant from our Dry Bag line. It is designed for placement inside shipping containers to help manage moisture during transport and storage. Manufactured by Shenzhen Sisuobo Desiccant Co., Ltd., brand Absorb King / Ensobo, it is part of a container desiccant range that includes Dry Bag, Dry Strip, and Dry Pole formats.
DB-1000G is a container desiccant bag. The bag format is used when you need a flexible desiccant unit that can be hung or positioned inside a container. It is not a small packaging sachet for individual cartons; it is intended for container-level moisture control. Actual capacity, dimensions, and absorption data should be confirmed on the current technical data sheet. Container desiccant selection is based on cargo, route, and voyage.
Container rain, also called condensation rain, happens when warm, moisture-laden air cools inside a container. The dew point is reached, and water condenses on interior surfaces such as the ceiling, walls, and doors. Over time, droplets can fall onto cargo. This can lead to damp cartons, rust on metal parts, mold on textiles or leather, and damage to machinery or packaged goods. A container desiccant bag is placed inside the container to help attract moisture before it becomes visible condensation. It cannot dry out already-wet cargo, stop a leaking container, or replace proper packaging. It is one part of a moisture-control plan.
Placement affects performance. Place or hang the DB-1000G as specified on the technical data sheet, and confirm the attachment method with our team, so air can move around the bag. Distribute units along the length of the container rather than grouping them in one location. Keep bags away from direct contact with cargo where possible, and do not place them where they can be crushed, punctured, or exposed to standing water. For door areas and high-risk zones, discuss layout with our team. Because container designs and cargo loads vary, always confirm the final placement plan before loading.
There is no universal dosage for a container desiccant bag. The right quantity depends on:
A short, dry inland route may need a different layout than a long ocean voyage through humid regions. For a recommendation, share your cargo details, route, transit time, container size, and loading conditions. We will help you review the number and placement of DB-1000G units. No result should be treated as a universal promise; performance depends on actual conditions.
